Second Chance.

Life often presents us with opportunities we are only to eager to grab. Many have turned out to be more than disastrous. I find in man an amazing resilience to face them and continue to tread on. Now, I only hope to be as brave as them. Courage is not simply fighting a nation's battle. It encompasses even our own. I too have to battle fight. And my greatest rival has often become myself.


I have often turned against me in hopes of pleasing and in fulfilling their expectations. Their dreams have become my own. I was a stranger even to my own self. Admittedly, I have abandoned DREAMS, unrealized desires and fledgling HOPES. I posses my own fears and shortcomings. I KNOW I CAN NEVER GO BACK IN TIME. I can only begin NOW.


Its not too LATE for SECOND CHANCES and NEW BEGINNINGS. Now, I posses no chartered path. But step by step, I tread on whatever MY footsteps may lead me. I may lose my way. I may reach dead-ends. I can always start anew.
